When does my train arrive, and where is it right now? Egypt Trains answers both in seconds. Pick your departure and arrival stations to see every train with its times and ticket prices, then follow your train live on the map. An independent app, not affiliated with Egyptian National Railways (ENR). Times and fares come from official published sources (enr.gov.eg). NEW: Cairo Metro, Monorail and LRT All three Cairo Metro lines, the East Nile Monorail and the LRT are now in the app. Plan a full trip by train and metro, with transfers, walking links between stations and ticket prices. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT Live trains on the map Riders on board share where the train really is, automatically or with one tap, so you know where it is and how late it's running. Delay history See how late each train usually runs, with the original and expected times side by side. Platform numbers Find out which platform your train uses before you reach the station, reported and confirmed by riders. Alerts before your stop Get notified as the train approaches your station, and when it's running late. The full route Every stop from start to finish with arrival and departure times, on a timeline that shows how far the train has gone. Seat availability Check available seats in each class before you book. A chat for every train Riders on the same train share delays and updates. TRAVELLING IN EGYPT? Popular routes include Cairo to Alexandria, Cairo to Luxor and Aswan, the overnight sleeper train, and Talgo, VIP and first-class services. Search by station, train number or voice, in English or Arabic. FAQ Can I book tickets in the app? No. Egypt Trains is for timetables, fares and live tracking. Tickets are booked through ENR's official app or at the station. Does it work offline? Saved timetables work offline. Live tracking needs a connection. More than 600 railway stations across Egypt, plus every metro, monorail and LRT station. Arabic and English, dark mode, 12- or 24-hour time, and saved favourite trains.
