About

Distance Goal

Features

Distance Goal turns a distance into a goal you can see. Set a target — walk the length of Hadrian's Wall, run 50 km this month, cycle to the coast — and a ring fills up as you go. Log your walks, rides, runs and swims, and watch a diary build up day by day. WHAT IT IS FOR Some goals are too big to hold in your head. A number on a page does not tell you whether you are ahead or behind, or whether you went out yesterday. A ring and a diary do. BUDDY GROUPS Follow the same goal as a few people you choose. Everyone sees how far the others have gone — and nothing else. There is no chat, no photos, no links: you cannot send anyone a message even if you wanted to. Names are picked by the app from a fixed list, so nobody can call themselves anything unkind. Whoever starts a group can remove someone from it. Anyone can hide anyone. The group is private and invite-only. YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE Almost everything lives on your device and never leaves it. The few figures shared with a buddy group are locked on your phone before they are sent, so not even we can read them. There are no accounts. There is nothing to sign in to, nothing to buy, and no adverts. BADGES AND JOURNEYS Earn badges as you go, or follow a journey — a real route, turned into a distance to cover.
