Verdict
The clearest difference is price: SheetMuse at Free against My Chord Library's $1.99. SheetMuse also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (90% vs 75%). My Chord Library's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

My Chord Library holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SheetMuse has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of My Chord Library's written reviews are positive against 90% of SheetMuse's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
My Chord Library ships an update every 2 months, SheetMuse every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
