To facilitate property owners to appoint a Qualified Person (QP) for Mandatory Windows Inspection Scheme (MWIS), Buildings Department (BD) launched this mobile application “WIN SAFE” connecting property owners/QP/BD for MWIS in an efficient manner, as a result, facilitating property owners’ early compliance of MWIS notices as well as enhancing building safety. Functions include: - - Searching QPs that meets individual owner’s needs - Rating by owners on the overall performance of the appointed QPs - Chatroom available for owners and QPs, which enables photos, files and voice recording attachments - Application for extension of time - Handling of enquiries - Collection of cost data from property owners and QPs for statistic and public’s reference

The Police Licensing Office of the Hong Kong Police Force launched the "HKP e-Licence" mobile application to issue eight types of electronic licences and permits, including Arms Licence, Massage Establishments Licence, Playing Musical Instrument Permit in Public Street or Road, Pawnbrokers Licence, Temporary Liquor Licence, Dragon/Lion/Unicorn Dance Permit, Security Personnel Permit and Societies Registration. Licence/permit holders can access their approved licences and permits at any time through "HKP e-Licence", and produce the licences/ permits to enforcement officers for inspection. The application also features a notification function that will remind licence holders to renew their licences or permits.
