Luxleaf measures the light a spot actually gets, identifies your plants from a photo, and builds a care schedule around the light each one receives. Most plant apps guess at light from a room description, or measure it in one place and give advice in another. Luxleaf reads the light where the plant sits and lets that drive watering, fertilizing, and where to move a plant that isn't getting enough. The light meter uses the front camera. Face that side toward the window or lamp, hold the phone at the plant's spot, and it reports the light level, from low light to direct sun, with lux and PPFD for the readings that need a number. It runs on your device. There is no fake sensor that returns the same reading everywhere. Plant identification works from a photo you take, processed on your device. Once a plant is in your collection, Luxleaf tracks watering and fertilizing on a schedule that shifts with the season and with how much light the plant is measured to get. Free: - The light meter and light level for any spot - Plant identification from a photo - Toxicity and safety information for people and pets - Watering and light basics for every plant you add, up to two plants - Care reminders that arrive during the day, not the middle of the night Premium: - Real PPFD and lux for any spot, measured as often as you like - Full care plans for every plant: fertilizing, repotting, propagation, and pest help - Reminders that follow the light and the seasons - Unlimited plants and light history Privacy: Luxleaf has no account and no sign-in. Your photos, light readings, and plant records stay on your device. The app contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking. A note on safety: Luxleaf is not a substitute for professional advice about toxic or dangerous plants. Where toxicity data is not available, treat a plant as potentially harmful around children and pets.
