Verdict
The clearest difference is chart position: SaveTk at #138 against TicDown's unranked. SaveTk also leads on ratings volume (18K vs 3.1K). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. SaveTk sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and TicDown sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for SaveTk against 4.6 for TicDown. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SaveTk has 18K ratings behind it against 3.1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 37% of SaveTk's written reviews are positive against 39% of TicDown's.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
