Factstore vs FlashCard By AI

Factstore is a focused flashcard app for fast, effective learning — at school, at university or on the job. Build decks by hand, import them from files, or let AI turn a PDF or photo into ready-to-learn cards. Practice with several quiz modes and watch your progress grow. ### Features **Decks & cards** - Create unlimited decks and cards, with front and back text - Search, sort (name or last learned) and group by alphabet or Leitner box - Swap front/back for an entire deck with one tap - Edit, duplicate and delete cards quickly **Smart import** - CSV and Excel files are imported directly — pick the columns or use automatic - PDF, TXT and image files are processed by AI to extract cards - Two AI import modes: Vocabulary pairs or Question & Answer - Choose your own AI provider: Google Gemini (API key) or local Ollama server - Photo capture: snap a page and turn it into cards **Quiz modes** - Classic mode: flip the card and self-evaluate - Write-answer mode: type the answer and get auto-checked - Validation: exact match or tolerant (ignore case, allow typos) - Direction: front → back, back → front, or random - Configurable cards-per-quiz **Spaced repetition** - Leitner box system moves cards you know forward and brings tricky ones back - Group by box to see what still needs work **Progress tracking** - Daily session view with correct/total scores - Chart view by month or year - Accuracy across all sessions **Family-friendly profiles** - Multiple profiles on the same device — each with their own progress - Share decks with the family while keeping individual stats separate **Cloud sync (optional)** - Sign in to sync decks, cards and progress across devices - Auto-sync on app start - Works offline; sync when you reconnect **Export & share** - Export any deck as CSV and share it **Built for everyone** - Light, dark and system themes - English and German interface - Fast, smooth and works offline by default ### Privacy Cloud sync is opt-in. Your decks live on your device until you choose to sign in. AI features use the provider you configure — bring your own key, or run a local Ollama server so nothing leaves your network.
