The worker then receives notification that they have been rostered on to a shift. The worker is required to 'tap-in;' when they leave their place of rest, again when they reach the work location, when they leave the work location and finally, when they arrive at their place of rest. Each 'tap-in' is then recorded for audit and time-management purposes. The admin user is able to track in "rail-time" the workers progress through the planned shift. Where an exceedance of working hours is identified the system will notify the worker and the allocated Supervisor where a risk assessment can be carried out remotely to either approve or deny the exceedance. A series of preformatted reports are available for download by the Admin user ranging from total company worked hours, individuals worked hours and travel time for a given period and the hours worked against a specific project.
