Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: CUBER at 4.2 against Cube Timer's 3.0. CUBER also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 2). Cube Timer's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CUBER sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cube Timer sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
CUBER holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CUBER has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
CUBER ships an update every 4 months, Cube Timer fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 15, 2026 and August 29, 2026 respectively.
