Metelier is a reflected-light meter made for using real film cameras. Measure the light with your phone, then translate it into aperture and shutter-speed values available on your chosen camera, lens, and film. Metelier is developed from a working shop-floor perspective by the owner of a used film-camera shop. Key features - A classic match-needle display with correct exposure at center zero - Green for correct exposure, yellow within one stop, and red beyond one stop - Aperture and shutter dials that follow the saved equipment values, plus 1/3-stop exposure compensation - Aperture-priority, shutter-priority, and manual modes - Green shows the dial direction toward correct exposure; red shows the opposite direction - Search 193 cameras, 561 manual-focus lenses, and 121 film stocks - Save camera, lens, and film combinations as equipment kits - Add custom equipment, aperture values, and shutter speeds not found in the catalog - Set phone-specific exposure trim and lens transmission loss - Japanese and English, light and dark themes, and selectable theme colors - External settings backup and restore Privacy Camera frames used for metering are processed on the device and are never saved or transmitted. There are no accounts, ads, behavioral tracking, or analytics. Equipment profiles and settings are stored on the device. Please note Metelier is a reflected-light meter that uses a smartphone camera. Readings can vary with the phone model, camera, subject, and lighting conditions. For critical work, compare against a reference meter or test exposure and apply a trim when needed. Incident-light and flash metering are not supported.
