Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wished at 75% against Wishlist & Gift List's 0%. Wished also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 16) and device support (3 vs 1). Wishlist & Gift List's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 2.0) and update cadence (weekly vs every 12 months). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wishlist & Gift List sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Wished asks for nothing beyond the download.
Wishlist & Gift List holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wishlist & Gift List has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Wished's written reviews are positive against 0% of Wishlist & Gift List's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Wished ships an update every 12 months, Wishlist & Gift List weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
