Dishdraft
Read full descriptionHide full description
Dishdraft converts any recipe into your diet — keto, carnivore, vegan, vegetarian, paleo, gluten-free, low-FODMAP, Whole30, pescatarian, DASH, Mediterranean, low-calorie, GLP-1 friendly, or your custom set. Snap a screenshot of any recipe — food blog, Instagram, cookbook, handwritten card, YouTube / TikTok / Reels caption — and Dishdraft uses AI vision to read the ingredients and steps, then rewrites the recipe to fit your diet while honoring the original's technique and flavor. WHY DISHDRAFT • Honest scores. Every conversion shows a confidence rating ("will it cook?") and a similarity rating ("will it taste like the original?"), second-checked by an independent AI pass for cooking accuracy. • Smart swaps. Mission Carb Smart for keto tortillas, Banza for gluten-free pasta, coconut aminos for soy — pick the products you actually use before the AI runs. Your saved choices auto-apply on future recipes. • Chef's notes. Each variant comes with a 2–3 sentence note explaining why the swap works, in warm chef voice. • Cook Mode. Full-screen step-by-step with auto-timers and ingredient drawer. Screen stays awake while you cook. • Ask the Chef. Stuck mid-recipe? Ask the AI a question scoped to that exact dish. Up to 50 questions a day on Pro. • Meal planner + shopping list. Drag library recipes onto a 7-day grid; shopping list consolidates ingredients across the whole week with unit-aware merging. • Community. Discover what other home cooks are converting. Rate recipes you've tried. Share photos of finished dishes (admin-reviewed before public). PRICING • Weekly: $4.99 — up to 15 recipe saves per week. • Monthly: $8.99 — up to 50 recipe saves per month. • Yearly: $89.99 — up to 50 saves per month, less than $2 per week (best value). All subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. Cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Free tier: 3 imports + 3 conversions to try Dishdraft before subscribing. AI-GENERATED CONTENT Recipe conversions, cooking suggestions, and chef's notes are generated by AI. AI can make mistakes — always taste, adjust, and use your judgment as a cook. Our "second-check" pass reviews cooking coherence, not medical safety. NOT MEDICAL ADVICE Dishdraft offers cooking suggestions tailored to common dietary patterns — not personalized medical or nutritional advice. People managing celiac disease, diabetes, food allergies, GLP-1 medications, pregnancy nutrition, or other medical conditions should cross-check ingredients and macros with their healthcare provider. Every body is different; chat with a doctor or dietitian about what fits yours. PRIVACY We don't sell your data. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Dishdraft at none against That Recipe's shown. Dishdraft also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 26 months). That Recipe's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
