Openspace.Social is a decentralized social network built on the Fediverse. Connect, share, and follow across thousands of communities comfortably with no ads, no tracking, no algorithm working against you. WHY OPENSPACE Most social apps decide what you see, sell what they learn about you, and lock you inside their walls. Openspace does the opposite. As a Fediverse-native platform, your account can connect with people on Mastodon and other ActivityPub-compatible networks. Your data stays yours. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Build or join communities — gather around shared interests, run your own community, or contribute to others • Engage in real conversation — comment, react, and reply with people who actually want to talk • Pin the posts that matter — keep your best work or important threads at the top of your profile • Reach across the Fediverse — comment, react, and reshare content from any compatible network • Group connections into Circles — share specific posts with the right group of people, not the whole internet • Organize accounts into Lists — curate custom feeds by topic, person, or interest • Build Your Own Algorithm (BYOA) — set your own rules for what shows up. You decide what's signal and what's noise. • No ads. No tracking. — we don't sell your attention. The only data we use is what's needed to authenticate your account and keep it secure. WHO IT'S FOR Anyone who wants social media to feel like a place again — not a stream of ads and outrage. Creators, hobbyists, friend groups, communities, and people who remember what social used to be.
