Antiviral Reader
Read full descriptionHide full description
Antiviral replaces the algorithmic feed with an editor you talk to. Follow the YouTube channels, newsletters, RSS feeds, podcasts, subreddits and Bluesky accounts you already trust. Then tell Antiviral what you want, in plain words: "something new about space telescopes", "less politics today", "why am I seeing this?". The curation runs on your device with Apple Intelligence. No account, no ads, no engagement metrics. THE EDITION Every morning Antiviral reads the last day of your own sources and composes one issue: a short editor's note, the pieces worth your attention, and a decision log naming what was set aside and why. Every claim in it is grounded against the sources. When the issue ends, it ends. There is a last page. THE FEED A feed you can argue with. Every item carries a reason it is there. Say "go deeper", "more like this", "not today", or "block this creator", and the feed changes on the spot. Dismiss something and Antiviral tells you what it learned. THE SHORTLIST Instead of an endless scroll, a hand of six cards. Watch what you choose, put the rest down, and the session is over. Nothing refills behind your back. YOU SET THE RULES Dispute a choice and Antiviral turns it into a standing rule you can read, edit and revoke. Your interests are shown in plain language, never as hidden scores. Nothing is trained on you and nothing is sold. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Curation runs on-device with Apple's Foundation Models. The daily Edition is composed over Apple Private Cloud Compute, which keeps your data inaccessible to anyone, including Apple and us. Your library syncs through your own iCloud. The app collects no data about you. ALSO • Read aloud and in CarPlay: the Edition, saved items and your podcasts • Save anything for later, with offline caching • Import your YouTube subscriptions and Google Takeout history in one step • Share links into Antiviral from Safari and other apps • Shortcuts and Siri actions • Native Mac app with a menu bar reader and keyboard shortcuts FREE AND READER The Feed, the Shortlist and a Sunday Edition are free. The Antiviral Reader subscription adds the Edition every day, with a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. REQUIREMENTS Antiviral needs Apple Intelligence: iOS 27 on iPhone 15 Pro or later, iPadOS 27 on an iPad with an M-series chip, or macOS 27 on an Apple silicon Mac, with Apple Intelligence turned on.
