Connected to applications such as CoMo or Koral, the smartphone becomes a gestural musical instrument, enabling sounds to be triggered and modified by movement. Setting the WiFi network parameters is made easy by using a QR code generated by the application. The CoMote application can be used with any software that uses the OSC protocol or Websockets. CoMote is being developed by the Interaction-Sound-Music-Movement team at IRCAM (STMS-lab Ircam - CNRS - Sorbonne University) in partnership with the association Arts Convergences. With the support of : Fondation MAAF, Fondation Falret, DΓ©partement des Yvelines, and the Afnic Foundation (Fondation de France).
