Prepare for your firefighter certification or promotional exam with Knightlite, the study app built around the textbooks on your reading list. Study chapter by chapter, test your knowledge, identify weak areas, and build confidence before exam day. Creating firefighter study software since 1996, Knightlite offers 30+ study guides and 42,000+ practice questions across its growing library, covering Firefighter I & II, Fire Officer, Company Officer, driver/operator, building construction, strategy and tactics, incident safety, hazmat, and EMS. STUDY THE WAY YOU LEARN BEST • Chapter-Based Practice Tests – Study one chapter, selected chapters, or an entire book. Randomize questions and set your own question limit. • Focus on Weak Areas – Automatically track missed questions, revisit only incorrect answers, and filter for unanswered or flagged questions. • Flashcard Mode – Reveal answers at your own pace to practice active recall without multiple-choice hints. • Daily Drill – Build a consistent study habit with a quick mix of missed, unanswered, and review questions. Track your daily progress. • Five-Alarm Mode – Challenge yourself with timed quizzes. Correct answers add time; incorrect answers take time away. • Hands-Free Review – Use Voice Assist and Auto Play to hear questions and correct answers read aloud. Adjust the speech rate to suit your pace. • Vocabulary Flashcards – Review key terms and definitions, switch between term-first and definition-first cards, and listen to definitions aloud. • Textbook References – Many questions include page references and explanatory notes so you know where to return to the source material. • Save and Resume – Pause a quiz and pick up where you left off. Review results and retake missed questions. • Personal Question Notes – Add your own notes to questions for later review. • Flexible Study Settings – Enable or disable chapters, search guides and vocabulary, flag difficult questions, and choose from multiple app themes. BUILT FOR CERTIFICATION AND PROMOTION Whether you're preparing for a Firefighter I or II certification, a driver/operator exam, or a lieutenant or captain promotional exam, Knightlite helps you make your study time count.
