The app applies no transformation, color correction, or extra magnification beyond what the iPhone camera natively performs — it is a passive viewer and recorder. Tip: on a binocular microscope, place the phone on one eyepiece and look through the other eyepiece with the naked eye to compare the camera view against what you see by eye.
