Using a combination of GPS and other location finding methods, the app can tell you where your boat is whether its in a storage facility, on a trailer or in the water. Set your desired ideal geofencing parameters, alert frequency, and location resolution and more. GET EARLY WARNINGS OF POTENTIAL RISKS TO YOUR BOAT Oversea provides several sensors which help you guard against potential immediate and long-term risks to your boat. The bilge monitoring feature tracks the frequency and duration of bilge pump operations, alerting you to leaks that might sink your boat. The sound monitor listens for loud alarms, like a smoke alarm, so you can react immediately. The temperature, humidity and high water sensor alerts you if the bilge water level gets too high or if temperature and humidity gets too high. GUARD AGAINST UNAUTHORIZED USE AND THEFT The Oversea app tracks Oversea entry sensors and motion sensors and immediately alerts you in the event that someone has opened a door or cabinet they shouldn’t have, or if there is someone in or on your boat. ENSURE YOUR BOAT IS READY TO GO Using the Oversea battery and shore power sensors, the Oversea app will help you make sure your boat battery is fully charged so there are no unexpected hiccups when you go to take the boat out. The shore power sensor makes sure your boat is recharging when you expect it to be. BUILD YOUR RESPONSE TEAM Using the Oversea app, you can designate for each device (Hub and Sensors) which people should get alerts for any given situation. You can get alerts on the app, by push notification, emails or SMS texts. MANAGE YOUR OVERSEA DEVICES The Oversea app monitors the health of each sensor and hub, ensuring that the device is connected and warning you if device battery voltage gets low. For some sensors, you can use the app to configure sensitivity, alert thresholds and more. MONITOR ALL YEAR ROUND Since Oversea is the only boat monitoring system that has its own power for at least a year – the Hub is rated for 1-2 years and the sensors for at least 5 years – you can use the app to monitor your boat at all time during the year, no matter where it is and whether its in active use or not. MONITOR ONE BOAT OR MANY If you have multiple boats, you can track them all within the Oversea app. If your boats are close to each other, you can use a single Hub to track all sensors while maintaining a boat-specific view for each individual sensor. Monitoring and location services are available when both you and your boat are within cellular signal range; alerts are queued so if you or your boat travel outside cellular range, you will receive the alerts when both are back in range.
