VendorWatch

VendorWatch reads your vendor invoices and tells you when a price goes up. Take a photo of an invoice or pick one from your photo library. VendorWatch pulls out the vendor, invoice number, date and every line item with its quantity, unit price and total. You review it all before anything is saved. Items with handwritten corrections are flagged so you can check the math, and if you already saved the same invoice, VendorWatch tells you before saving it twice. PRICE SPIKE ALERTS Each time you save an invoice, VendorWatch compares every item's unit price against its average over the last three invoices from that vendor. Anything more than 10% higher is flagged with the estimated dollar impact on that order, and you get a notification. Every alert stays in the Alerts tab. PRICE TRENDS Look up any item and see its unit price over time. When you buy the same item from more than one vendor, VendorWatch lists each vendor's latest price for it, cheapest first. YOUR VENDORS AND ITEMS Every vendor and item is added automatically as you scan. Tap any saved invoice to see it again. WORKS WITH CHEFSCALE AND MENUCRAFT (PRO) Send your latest prices to ChefScale or MenuCraft so recipe costs and menu prices use what you actually pay. FREE AND PRO Free includes 10 invoice scans, plus spike alerts, price trends and your full history. Pro removes the scan limit and adds sending prices to ChefScale and MenuCraft. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or annual. Cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings. HOW YOUR DATA IS HANDLED Invoice photos are read by Anthropic's AI. Each photo is sent over the internet to be read, so scanning needs a connection. Your invoices, line items and price history are stored on your phone. There is no account to create. The app sends anonymous usage stats and nothing that identifies you.
