Ear-training exercises on intervals, chord qualities, cadences, and chord progressions. The cadences and progressions follow common-practice harmony and voice-leading, the style taught in university and conservatory theory courses: the leading tone rises to the tonic, sevenths resolve down, and parallel fifths and octaves are avoided. What you hear sounds like real music, not random notes. Practice the ear-training skills music schools teach and test, on your own, without a teacher at the piano. The exercises: • Intervals: Name the interval between two notes, ascending, descending, or harmonic. • Chord Qualities: Identify a chord's quality across voicings, played as a block or an arpeggio. • Cadences: Recognize Authentic, Plagal, Half, and Deceptive cadences. • Chord Progressions: Identify each chord in a functional progression, with optional inversions and the dominant seventh. Why Audonia: • Compare to hear the difference. After you answer, replay your pick against the correct one. • See what you heard. Every answer names what was played: the notes of an interval or chord, or the chords and their inversions in a cadence or progression. • Endless practice. Every exercise is generated fresh on your phone, so you never run out and never repeat a worksheet. • Works offline. Generation runs entirely on your device; no connection needed. • Light or dark mode. Follows your system preferences, or set it yourself in Settings. • Real piano. Sampled from an actual grand piano, not synthesized tones.

Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Audonia at Free against Mini Piano Pro's $1.99. Audonia also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months). Mini Piano Pro's advantage is ratings volume (35 vs 3) and chart position (#174 vs unranked). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
