Get in the shot. Keep control of both angles. Turn one phone into a wireless camera remote for up to two phones running Remote Camera. Frame a self-portrait with the rear camera, bring everyone into a group photo, or record an interview, tutorial or performance from two angles. See the shot before you take it. TWO CAMERAS, ONE REMOTE Watch two live previews in one view. Connect both cameras, take a photo on both, or start and stop their recordings with shared controls. Open either camera for individual adjustments. Pair iPhone and Android devices in the same setup. Use two devices for one camera, or three for two cameras. YOUR VIEWFINDER, WHERE YOU ARE Check framing even while video is recording. Pinch to zoom, set focus and exposure, switch cameras, and use flash or a video torch where supported. Set a 3- or 10-second photo timer. Portrait and landscape layouts keep your controls close to hand. MORE CONTROL OVER THE IMAGE Choose supported video modes up to 4K and adjust photo size. Set manual ISO and shutter speed on compatible cameras, then return to Auto. HEIF photos and H.264/HEVC video choices are available with compatible iOS cameras and receiving devices. Available controls, resolutions and frame rates depend on the camera, lens and mode. WI-FI, HOTSPOT OR INTERNET Pair by QR code or connection link. Find nearby cameras and reconnect to saved pairs. Nearby, use the same Wi-Fi network or a phone hotspot: local communication works without internet, and a hotspot needs no router. For cameras on different networks, use internet mode. A network connection may be needed to activate or verify Premium. ORIGINALS ON THE CAMERA. COPIES ON YOUR REMOTE. Keep original photos and videos on the camera phone, with permission to save. Enable copies on the remote to review your shots. Browse by camera and take, save received media to Photos, and export a take's file list. Interrupted transfers can resume after reconnection. You can leave the controller while the camera keeps recording, then reconnect to check or stop it. Keep Remote Camera open on every camera phone. GET STARTED Install the free Remote Camera companion on each camera phone and Remote Shutter on your controller. No app account is required. This app controls the Remote Camera companion, not a DSLR or action camera. PREMIUM Remote Shutter requires a weekly or yearly Premium subscription. The yearly plan offers a 3-day free trial to eligible new subscribers. Local prices, availability and trial eligibility are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple account settings; restore purchases from the paywall. Asking for a retake feels awkward. Even when someone kindly takes your photo on a trip, it rarely turns out the way you pictured it. totte connects two iPhones directly over P2P to take a different kind of "someone-else" photo. One becomes the camera, the other your live monitor โ the person in the shot checks the framing on their own screen and taps the shutter. SELF TIMERS AND SHUTTER REMOTES CAN'T SHOW YOU THE FRAME A timer means press, run, and hope. A Bluetooth shutter remote just fires the shutter. Either way, you have no idea how it looks until it's already taken. With totte, the iPhone in your hand becomes a shutter with a screen. Watch the live view from the iPhone you set down, and shoot with the framing you actually want โ no running back, no retakes. BEFORE YOU BUY A SELFIE MONITOR No need for a dedicated selfie-monitor gadget. If you have a spare iPhone lying around, that's all it takes. Try the "see while you shoot" experience right away, without buying more gear. RECONNECTS AUTOMATICALLY IF THE CONNECTION DROPS "The connection cuts out mid-shoot" is the top complaint with this kind of app, and totte tackles it head-on. It checks the connection every 3 seconds and reconnects automatically the moment it detects a drop, so your shoot doesn't have to stop. Not a selfie. Not asking someone else. A third option: a photo where you control the frame yourself. Fit the whole two of you in the shot, even when a selfie can't. GREAT FOR - Anniversary dinners where you want the restaurant in the shot, too - Trips where you finally want a full-body photo of the two of you, with the view behind you - Quiet moments at your favorite cafe โ the kind of casual shot that usually gets missed - Engagement and wedding photo sessions you want to shoot yourselves - Natural photos of pets and kids from a little distance, without them noticing the phone KEY FEATURES - Direct P2P connection between two iPhones (no Wi-Fi network or mobile data needed) - Ultra-low-latency live preview of the camera feed on the monitor phone - Reconnects automatically if the connection drops, so your shoot isn't interrupted - The live feed is just for framing โ your photo saves at your device's sensor resolution - Remote shutter from the monitor, plus volume-button shooting - Set an iPhone down and control it from your hand โ self-timer shots while you watch the frame - Shoot 3, 4, or 6 photos and pick the best shot together - Tap to focus, zoom, exposure adjustment, grid overlay - Photos save to your Photos library automatically (you can turn this off after your first shot) - Hands-free shooting with voice cues or hand gestures - Built-in gallery to review shots right away HOW IT WORKS โ 3 STEPS 1. Open totte on both iPhones, tap "Connect two iPhones," and choose Camera on one and Monitor on the other 2. Enter the 4-digit code shown on the Camera phone into the Monitor phone to connect 3. Check the framing on your screen, then tap the shutter SUPPORTED LANGUAGES Japanese, English, Korean, Chinese (Simplified / Traditional), Spanish PRIVACY totte only uses a direct P2P connection between your two iPhones. Your photos and the live video feed are never sent to any outside server. Photos stay on your iPhone, period. Crash reports are only sent if you opt in on first launch. You can change your choice anytime from Settings. No more handing your phone to strangers. No more timer-sprint panic. With two iPhones, the shot you actually wanted is the shot you get to keep.
