Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Super Simple Diary at 5.0 against KeepNote 2's 4.0. Super Simple Diary also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). KeepNote 2's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
