Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: trytogo at none against APTV's 1. trytogo also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). APTV's advantage is ratings volume (729 vs 4) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. APTV sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. trytogo asks for nothing beyond the download.
trytogo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: APTV has 729 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
APTV ships an update fortnightly, trytogo every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
