真真 JingJing is a translation app where you choose the language pair yourself. Korean into Japanese, Chinese into Japanese, Japanese into Thai — any combination works. Made for travelling abroad, working across borders, and talking to friends who speak another language. - You pick both sides Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, English, Burmese, Filipino, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and German. Tap either side to change the language, and the button in the middle swaps the direction. The pairs you use often are remembered for next time. - Traditional and Simplified Chinese are separate languages Select Traditional or Simplified Chinese separately as the source or target language. - Use the translation straight away Copy it with one tap, read it aloud for the person in front of you, or share it. - Speaking works too Tap the microphone to start voice input and tap again to stop. After the recognized text appears, tap Translate to send it. Speech recognition uses Apple Speech; recordings are not uploaded to our servers. - Your history is on your phone Everything you translate is kept on this device, where you can search it and delete it. Translation text is sent to JingJing's server for processing. See the Privacy Policy for storage, use and deletion details. - Free to start 5,000 characters of translation are included free — a one-off allowance, not a monthly reset. No sign-in required. Privacy policy: https://jingjing.app/privacy JINGJING PASS The one-time starting allowance is 5,000 characters for the app's anonymous installation identifier and does not refill over time. JingJing Pass offers weekly, monthly, three-month and yearly plans. An active subscription does not use the free allowance and allows up to 50,000 source characters in accepted attempts per day. The day resets at 00:00 Asia/Taipei (Taipei time); accepted attempts count even if translation fails. Prices and billing currency are shown by the App Store at purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically. Manage them in iPhone Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions and cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: LinHand at none against JingJing's shown. LinHand also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). JingJing's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 52 months). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
