Camp Eagle Connect vs 1st Accelerated Education

The Mission of Camp Eagle is to Inspire Christ-Like Change through Outdoor Adventure, Authentic Relationships, and Biblical Truth: to change the world. Since 1999, Camp Eagle has been doing just that in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. With the advent of new ways to build authentic relationships through technology, the team at Camp Eagle has decided to create a post-summer discipleship program and app to connect our campers and counselors, continuing to build on the authentic relationships first developed during the week of summer these campers came out to Camp Eagle. 1st Accelerated Education offers mandatory, online continuing education for nursing professionals in the state of Texas. Any nurse who provides direct patient care must complete a human trafficking prevention course that is approved by the Executive Director of Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) that covers identifying and assisting victims of human trafficking before the end of every licensing period (applicable to licensure renewals on or after September 1, 2020). CNE contact hours completed for this requirement may count towards completion of the 20 contact hours of CNE required for all nurses. NOTE: A course in human trafficking prevention approved by HHSC is a requirement to be completed for each renewal.
