About

SSH Terminal Client

SSH Terminal is a direct, self-hosted SSH client for iPhone and iPad. Connect to the servers you already own and use a real interactive terminal for shells, tmux, vim, htop, Codex CLI, Claude Code, and other command-line tools. No companion server, relay, or cloud terminal account is required. Features: - Interactive SSH terminal with ANSI/VT rendering and 256-color support - Password and OpenSSH private-key authentication - Explicit SHA-256 host-key verification before the first connection - Host-key change detection to block unexpected server identity changes - Multiple saved SSH hosts and in-app session switching - Detach from a session without closing the remote connection - Dynamic terminal sizing for iPhone and iPad, including rotation - Hardware-keyboard support and terminal accessory controls - SFTP directory browsing with upload and download - Safe file transfer using temporary files and atomic replacement where supported - Credentials stored locally in Apple Keychain SSH Terminal connects directly to the host and port you enter. Terminal input, output, credentials, and transferred files are not sent to an app-owned relay or analytics service. The app does not provide SSH port forwarding, agent forwarding, keyboard-interactive authentication, background transfers, or automatic tmux session recovery.
