Euchre card game classic • Solo and Multiplayer • Smart bots • Thousands of people to play with • Play online with friends • Interactive tutorial • Free and no signup required! Play Euchre to your heart's content with the official Euchre card game app from World of Card Games. Pair up with people by joining one of our tables, play by yourself against our bots, or create a private table and invite your friends and family to play. Our game is free to play and no signup is required. Euchre is played by 2 teams consisting of 2 people each, with partners sitting across from each other. The game's objective is to reach 10 points first. At the start of the game, each player is dealt 5 cards from a deck containing only Ace, King, Queen, Jacks, 10s and 9s. A single card is dealt face-up, and players can then accept it as the trump suit or pass. If all 3 players pass, the dealer must play with the card being the trump suit. Players must follow the suit of the lead player. The highest card of that suit wins the trick unless a trump card is played. If a person wins a trick, that person leads the next trick. A team is called the "Maker" team if they choose the trump suit, and the other team is called the "Defending" team. Defenders score 2 points for 3 or more tricks, and makers score 1 point for 3 and 4 tricks and 2 points for all 5 tricks. Every player can choose to ignore their partner's card, which is called "Going alone". The first team to reach 10 points wins the game. We're always open to suggestions, so feel free to reach out to us at https://worldofcardgames.com/euchre with suggestions for improvements. === FEATURES: === Play against the computer using our bots If you're new to a game, playing against others can feel intimidating. Start a private table and let your friends know about the table name to get them to join. === Ranked games and global leaderboards If you're serious about your card games or have a competitive streak, ranked games are for you. These games are reserved for more series players and will only be accessible to you once you've signed up and played 10 games. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Euchre ‣ at none against Euchre's 1. Euchre ‣ also leads on review sentiment (48% vs 29%) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Euchre sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Euchre ‣ asks for nothing beyond the download.
Euchre holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 589 and 860 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Euchre's written reviews are positive against 48% of Euchre ‣'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
