Mushroom Timer
Read full descriptionHide full description
Mushroom Timer is a simple timer app for keeping track of many countdowns at once and sharing them with friends in real time. β Sync with your group in a room Share a 6-character room code and everyone in the room sees the same timers, updated live. No more asking "how much time is left?" in the group chat. No account or sign-in needed. β Organize by area Sort timers into areas (tabs) you name yourself. Search finds any timer instantly, even when you have lots of them. β Two-stage countdown: battle and respawn Enter the time left in the battle, and the timer counts down through it and the 5-minute respawn that follows. You can note how many players are in, too. β Lock Screen and Dynamic Island Active timers show up as Live Activities on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, so you can check the time left without opening the app. β Notifications Get notified 5 minutes before, 1 minute before, and when a respawn is done. Choose which alerts you want in Settings. β Personal mode works offline When you're not in a room, everything stays on your device and the app makes no network connections at all. Available in English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Mushroom Timer at none against VideoTime's shown. Mushroom Timer also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 23 months). VideoTime's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
