Just 4 inches will change your entire life. Better Step corrects your stride length and encourages calorie burn more faster. Simply by taking better steps, you change yourself for tomorrow. Stop walking ineffectively and practice striding 4 inches longer with Better Step. Our app provides a stride meter, pedometer and a calorie counter to help you practice walking with longer strides. More than half of the population (56%) enjoy exercising through walking. However, your steps could be causing: - Loss of flexibility in joints - Back pain due to a bent posture - Exercising without activating your muscles. Does this sound like you? Through activating your muscles when you walk, you are working on your flexibility, reducing your back pain, burning calories, and losing weight daily with our step counter. - Walk 4 inches further with each step. If you allow your stride to narrow, your posture bends, your muscles weaken, movement becomes laborious and the joint movements decrease. It's difficult to exercise properly if this is your every day habit. We want to encourage you to widen your stride. By walking with an average stride length of an extra 4 inches each time, you will activate your muscle strength, restore your lost flexibility, and reduce body fat through the increase of energy expenditure. Alongside this, longer strides contribute to better balance and coordination. - By using our walking app, you will decrease your back pain. A narrow stride is one of the reasons the erector spinae muscle weakens and contraction of the iliopsoas muscle in the pelvis. Through walking with a wide stride, the erector spinae muscles develop under the influence of ground reaction force iliopsoas muscles increase through stretching. This helps to improve balance throughout the whole body, bring stability to your spine and reduce back pain with posture correction. - If this is true, what is the best stride length? Ideally, add 4in more to your stride length in comparison to normal walking. The best stride length is to walk at a 'proper stride length' that works best for you. This is due to the fact that walking wider than your appropriate stride length will increase your fall rate, because of the wider angle you are attempting to stride. Better Step will analyze your physical condition to measure the appropriate stride length and provide a step-by-step program to ensure you are walking properly. - Things you can do with Better Step We aim to make it easy to walk. Alongside this, we help you stay motivated with a personalized step-by-step program. This will help to burn visceral fat through this aerobic exercise, activate your muscles (lower body strength exercise), strengthen erector spinae muscles (posture correction), and correct turtle neck through upright walking. Better Step can also help you with what you eat, give daily walking challengers and give you positive energy every day! Walk 4in more today and be happier tomorrow! - Smartphone app access information When you use the app, we will request access to provide the following services. Simple Weight Log
Read full descriptionHide full description
Simple Weight Log lets you record your daily weight in about three seconds. No judgment, no pressure, no lectures — just your numbers, shown clearly. ■ A 3-second daily routine The app opens straight to a number pad with your last weight already filled in. Adjust with the +0.1 / -0.1 buttons and save — done. One entry per day; saving again on the same day simply overwrites it. No account, no setup. ■ Trend chart with moving averages View your weight as a line chart over 1 month, 3 months, 1 year, or all time. Overlay 7-day and 30-day moving averages to smooth out day-to-day fluctuations (like water weight) and see the gentle underlying trend. ■ Day-to-day change, streak, and BMI The home screen shows the change from the previous day and your recording streak. Set your height to see your BMI and a reference standard weight (based on BMI 22) — shown as reference values only. ■ A goal, expressed in numbers Set a target weight and date to see the required pace (kg per week), your progress, and a projection based on your pace so far. It works the same whether your goal is to lose or to gain. If the pace exceeds 1% of your body weight per week, the app shows a gentle caution note. ■ Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets Your latest weight and 7-day change on Home Screen widgets (small and medium) and Lock Screen widgets (circular and rectangular) — visible without opening the app. ■ CSV export Export all your entries as a CSV file (date, weight_kg). Your data is always yours to take. ■ Your weight stays on your device All entries are stored on your device. No account is required, and your weight data is never uploaded. There is no HealthKit or iCloud sync. ■ Honest about its limits - Units: kilograms (kg) only. Pounds are not supported. - The daily boundary is based on Japan Standard Time (JST). - This app is not a medical device. BMI and other figures are reference information, not medical advice. It does not promise weight loss or health outcomes — it records your weight and shows it clearly, nothing more. [Ads and purchase] Every feature is available to use. A banner ad is shown at the bottom of the screen; a one-time "Remove Ads" purchase hides the banner (no subscription, no auto-renewal). Showing ads requires a network connection, but your weight data is never sent. Privacy policy: https://honki.ai/simple-weight-log/privacy.html
