Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: CallupTracker at none against FanGraphs's shown. CallupTracker also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). FanGraphs's advantage is ratings volume (349 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FanGraphs sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and CallupTracker sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
CallupTracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FanGraphs has 349 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
FanGraphs ships an update every 2 weeks, CallupTracker every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
