The Sock Pattern Architect creates custom knitting patterns based on your actual measurements and individual gauge—completely independent of rigid standard tables. Tailor-made instead of generic The app calculates the leg, heel, foot, and toe from your specific inputs: gauge, leg circumference, instep circumference, as well as foot length and circumference. This ensures results based on real proportions for a perfect fit. The right instructions for every level Whether you are just starting out or have knitted countless pairs—simply adjust the instruction output to match your experience: • Detailed for Beginners: Comprehensive explanations for every step. • Normal: The proven standard for experienced knitters. • Brief for Experts: A compact summary of the essential numbers and facts. Maximum construction flexibility Choose from various heel and toe types and foot shapes (e.g., Egyptian, Greek, or Roman). The app provides smart recommendations that you can adopt directly or modify manually. High precision: The toe calculation can be fine-tuned for small feet and specific stitch transitions. Precision through personal knitting style Account for your individual tension directly in the calculation. Whether you knit very tightly or particularly loosely, the app automatically adjusts stitch counts to match your personal knitting style. Features at a glance: • Calculation based on actual measurements instead of standard tables. • Adjustable level of detail (Beginner to Expert). • Support for numerous heel, toe, and foot types. • Smart recommendations for construction variants. • Individual adjustment for personal knitting tension. • Optimized toe calculation for small sizes. • PDF export of the finished pattern. • Fully available in German and English. Results are clearly structured into sections: Leg, Heel, Foot, and Toe. The Sock Pattern Architect is the tool for everyone looking to plan socks more individually and accurately—from small feet to regular sizes, from simple standards to specifically customized variants.
