CloudLabs Respiratory system vs COPD Advances

This simulation recreates a medical laboratory with a mannequin of a human body. The objective of this practice is for the student to identify and select the organs corresponding to the respiratory system and locate them correctly on the mannequin, in addition to identifying the function of each organ. The simulator presents three symptoms related to the respiratory system, which require the student to identify and intervene the affected organ causing the symptoms.

In the management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD), several therapeutic mechanisms have been developed. These therapies include monoclonal antibodies that target pro-inflammatory alarmins and associated cytokine pathways. With continued developments in COPD management, biologic therapies are a promising strategy to achieve treatment goals with promising data showing potential for improving outcomes in patient care.
