CloudLabs Lung Capacity vs COPD Advances

In this simulator there are three models of the human body that present different conditions of the respiratory system. In the simulator, the student will find a spirometer to perform spirometric tests on the three models and, according to the results obtained, identify if they have obstructive or restrictive problems or if they are healthy.

In the management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD), several therapeutic mechanisms have been developed. These therapies include monoclonal antibodies that target pro-inflammatory alarmins and associated cytokine pathways. With continued developments in COPD management, biologic therapies are a promising strategy to achieve treatment goals with promising data showing potential for improving outcomes in patient care.
