Wormy is a clever logic puzzle game that challenges your spatial awareness and problem-solving skills in a gravity-bound grid world. Navigate through narrow underground burrows, gather apples, and find your way to the exit. Guide your segment-based worm through increasingly complex mazes where physics dictate every move. Push heavy rocks out of the way, step on buttons to open locked gates, and safely deliver fragile eggs to their nests. Watch out for sharp scissors that can cut your worm segment by segment, dividing your body into multiple worms that you must coordinate and control. Features: - Hand-Crafted Levels: Progress through a series of unique, logic-driven puzzle challenges. - Interactive Mechanics: Leverage buttons, gates, keys, locks, spikes, and nesting eggs to clear your path. - Physics & Gravity: Move rocks and eggs carefully, keeping in mind that unsupported objects will fall. - Built-in Level Editor: Design your own custom levels, playtest them instantly, and export them. - Premium Art Style: Enjoy a minimalist, beautifully themed hand-drawn earth aesthetic. Can you wiggle your way out?

Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pilgrims at 64% against Wormy's 0%. Pilgrims also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (453 vs 2). Wormy's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pilgrims sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Wormy asks for nothing beyond the download.
Wormy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pilgrims has 453 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Pilgrims's written reviews are positive against 0% of Wormy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Pilgrims ships an update every 2 months, Wormy every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
