L’application Vigicrues a vocation à informer le public d’un danger potentiel lié aux crues sur les principaux cours d’eau en France, surveillés par l’État. Ce danger est matérialisé par une couleur de vigilance crues à laquelle sont associés des bulletins et des prévisions. Cette application, gérée par les services de l’État, est gratuite et permet de disposer des informations suivantes : - niveau de vigilance crues (vert/jaune/orange/rouge) ; - bulletins d’informations national et locaux rédigés par les prévisionnistes de crues, et conseils de comportement adaptés à la situation ; - hauteurs d’eau et/ou débits observés dans les cours d’eau - prévisions de hauteurs d’eau et/ou de débits sur certaines stations, en situation de crue ; - cartographies de zones inondables sur certains secteurs. L’application permet de se géolocaliser sur la carte et de visualiser les tronçons de cours d’eau et les stations à proximité. L’application permet également de créer un compte personnel pour bénéficier d’abonnements et d’avertissements personnalisés. Les abonnements permettent de recevoir une notification à chaque nouvelle publication d’un bulletin. Les avertissements permettent de recevoir des notifications lors d’un changement de la couleur de vigilance crues sur un tronçon de cours d’eau, un territoire, ou un département ; et de recevoir des notifications lorsque le niveau du cours d’eau dépasse le seuil choisi par l’utilisateur sur une station.
