Hold On! is a spending-decision reference tool. Before you check out, hand the "should I buy this?" question to other people. It is not a wallet, not a payment app, not a lender and not a bookkeeping tool. It never holds your money, offers no credit, and carries no shopping links or referral fees. It does exactly one thing: puts a pause between the urge and the payment. * Six rules, none of them optional · Four fields, all required — item, price, your reason for buying, and an alternative. A screenshot is optional. Filling the form in is usually where half the urge dies. · A reason is mandatory — approve or reject, you must type at least five characters explaining why. Tapping a button alone won't submit, so reviewing never collapses into a reflex game. · Blind voting — until you've cast your own vote you can't see the tally or anyone else's reasoning. Your first reaction stays yours. · Anonymous throughout — all you see is an alias and a geometric avatar. The same person keeps the same alias, but nobody knows who they are. · Cooling-off window — one to 72 hours, your choice, and a result only lands once the quorum you set has voted. The craving peaks in minutes; waiting is the medicine. · The verdict is only advice — buy it after a rejection if you like. You'll just know exactly what you're doing. * How it works 1. Write it down: item, price, why you want it, and whether something cheaper would do. A screenshot of the price page helps. 2. Pick your reviewers: post to the plaza for strangers, or to a group so your partner, roommates or family can weigh in. 3. Wait: you can withdraw at any time during the cooling-off window. Watching costs no votes. 4. Read the verdict: once it lands you see every reason, and can give a flower to the ones that actually helped. 5. Watch the ledger: rejected purchases add up as money you didn't spend — visible, honest feedback. * Anonymity and safety · The plaza runs on aliases only; no real identity is ever shown. Every alias is still tied to one account behind the scenes, so rule-breaking content remains traceable. · Every post and every user has a report entry point. You can block specific users and set keyword filters in Settings. · We commit to acting on reports within 24 hours. Violating content is removed; repeat offenders are banned. · Full rules live in the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. * Your data Screenshots are used only to illustrate your own request. Notifications can be switched off at any time. You can delete your account from Settings, and its data is removed immediately.
