Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Mixy at none against Tunesimo's shown. Tunesimo's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 27%) and rating (4.8 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Tunesimo sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Mixy sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Tunesimo holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tunesimo has 163K ratings behind it against 19K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 60% of Tunesimo's written reviews are positive against 27% of Mixy's.
