The connection between the caller and backup is based on Bluetooth and location tracking. JEWELRY Our jewelry is connected for a purpose and features an integrated caller button. If the wearer feels unsafe, they can press the button three times to activate a network of backups. When calling for support, your phone will make a “distraction call” as a potential exit from the uncomfortable situation. To activate your jewelry in the app, you must complete the bystander intervention training in the all.u.me app. BACKUP As a backup, you’ll be trained in bystander intervention and notified when someone nearby feels unsafe. A backup is someone ready to support and assist the caller in de-escalating the situation. The 5Ds are effective strategies that support callers without escalating the situation.
