Kodo
Read full descriptionHide full description
Kodo lets you feel the heartbeats of different animals through your iPhone's vibrations and animation. A human heart beats about 70 times a minute. A sparrow's beats around 800 times, and an elephant's only about 20. Numbers like these are hard to imagine, but in the palm of your hand the difference is unmistakable. - A collection of heartbeats Nine animals are laid out like specimens in a display case: human, sparrow, elephant, octopus, chicken, cat, dog, horse and mouse. Inside each outline, a red heart beats at its real pace. - Feel it through vibration Choose an animal and your iPhone pulses at its heart rate. Small animals beat fast, large ones slowly. Close your eyes and compare. - Heart rates that change Switch a human between rest, exercise and sleep, or a horse between rest and full gallop, and the heart rate changes with it. - Heart monitor view Switch to text view to see every animal's heartbeat at once as a moving ECG trace, like a hospital monitor. Heart rates are approximate.
