How much of the year has truly passed? Not what the calendar says - how much you've actually felt. VÁNA displays your year's progress through an elegant ring that shifts color with the seasons. But its true soul is Slow Perception: mathematical curves inspired by real research in psychology and neuroscience that transform linear progress into something that mirrors how your brain perceives time - slow at the start, fast at the end. PERCEPTION CURVES • Logarithmic - inspired by the Weber-Fechner law (1860) • Slow - inspired by Janet and Lemlich's proportional theory • Very Slow - for those who want to savor every week • Custom - adjust the intensity with a slider WIDGETS FOR EVERY OCCASION • Home Screen: small, medium, and large • Lock Screen: circular, rectangular, and inline • Tap the widget to toggle between linear and perceived view FLEXIBLE TIME FRAMES • Calendar, academic, or fiscal year • Current month or week • Or choose your own start and end dates SEASONAL COLORS The ring changes color following the seasons, inspired by the Elvish calendar of Imladris — from icy blue in winter to spring green, from summer gold to autumn rust. TOTAL PRIVACY No data collected. No network connections. Zero tracking. Everything stays on your device. VÁNA is named after the Valië of Spring in Tolkien's Silmarillion - "the Ever-young", in whose gardens time is forever young.
