¡palabras! vs Word Dictionary

For beginner and intermediate English-speaking students learning Spanish and Spanish-speaking students learning English, this is *THE* snappy to open, simple to use vocabulary app that's great for learning while you kill time! Always free of charge, we will never ask you to create an account, never collect or sell personal information, and never require a subscription purchase to learn. From an English-speaking student learning Spanish . . . this is the vocabulary flashcard and quiz app you've been searching for. (Or, at least it's the one I was searching for.) When I started learning Spanish, I was frustrated I couldn't find a basic vocab app that was simple to use, didn't require signing up for an account, was free or reasonably priced without requiring a subscription, offered a word bank suited to beginner and intermediate Spanish and English language students, and was quick and easy to open up while waiting in line or grabbing a coffee. So, I built my own flashcard and quiz app. One feature important to me was total immersion in the language -- and that meant no English. That's why the instructions, which are simple to follow, are in Spanish--to facilitate immersion learning for English speaking students. And I've packed the vocabulary word bank with the most relevant words for students using first- and second-year Spanish or English textbooks. This app is a labor of love. My hope is to share this language-learning tool to further your foreign language studies. To that end, if you find an error, or have a comment or suggestion, please follow the app's instructions to contact me. I make every effort to respond to all e-mails I receive. This app is also available for license under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). Please contact me for more information if you are interested in creating your own customized version. I sure hope this app improves your Spanish or English vocabulary! Happy learning! (PS. To BHLI students (you know who you are)--this is the app I told you about in class.)
