TerraMine vs Visit Delphi

The municipality of Pilea - Hortiatis participates as a Partner in the project entitled: "Sustainable Eco-Cultural Valorization of Mines and Quarries Sites in the Cross-Border Area" - "Terra-Mine", which is financed within the European Cooperation Program INTERREG V-A "Greece - Bulgaria 2014-2020". The corporate structure of the project is coordinated by the Municipality of Madan (Lead Beneficiary) and includes as beneficiary partners the Municipality of Pilea - Hortiatis, the Democritus University of Thrace (Department of Production and Management Engineering), the International Hellenic University (Department of Business Administration - Discipline of Tourism Management) and the University of Mining and Geology "St. Ivan Rilksi". The overall objective of the Terra-Mine project is to preserve and exploit the old mines and quarries of the cross-border area for tourism purposes, strengthening cooperation between local actors, as well as enhancing their skills. As part of the project, a mobile application was developed for iOS operating systems, using beacons and QR codes on a plexiglass base, which have been installed in areas near the quarry area, giving users the following possibilities to: • digitally browse the quarry area of the Municipality of Pilea – Hortiatis, • choose the destinations they want to visit, • create routes to recommended tour points • obtain information about points of interest combining the most innovative interactive tools such as virtual reality and augmented reality. The funding body is the INTERREG - V-A Program "GREECE - BULGARIA 2014 - 2020" which is financed by 85% from the European Regional Development Fund and by 15% from national resources. Η παρούσα εφαρμογή έχει αναπτυχθεί στο πλαίσιο του έργου με τίτλο «ΣΗΜΑΝΣΗ ΚΑΙ ΨΗΦΙΑΚΗ ΕΦΑΡΜΟΓΗ ΜΝΗΜΕΙΩΝ ΚΑΙ ΑΞΙΟΘΕΑΤΩΝ ΔΗΜΟΥ ΔΕΛΦΩΝ». Φορέας χρηματοδότησης είναι το Ευρωπαϊκό Γεωργικό Ταμείο Αγροτικής Ανάπτυξης (ΕΓΤΑΑ). Η υλοποίηση του έργου χρηματοδοτείται από το Πρόγραμμα Δημοσίων Επενδύσεων (ΠΔΕ) και από την ΣΑ 082/1 και κωδικό εναρίθμου 2017ΣΕ08210000. Το φυσικό αντικείμενο περιλαμβάνει τη δημιουργία ενός πληροφοριακού συστήματος τουριστικής προβολής και την προμήθεια πληροφοριακών πινακίδων, οι οποίες θα τοποθετηθούν σε διάφορα σημεία του δήμου Δελφών. Το πληροφοριακό σύστημα αποτελείται από μια διαδικτυακή πύλη (web portal) και μια εφαρμογή φορητών συσκευών (mobile app) , διαθέσιμη μέσω των παγκόσμιων σχετικών stores. Οι εφαρμογές υποστηρίζουν λειτουργίες εικονικής πραγματικότητας (VR) μέσω εικονικών περιηγήσεων τελευταίας γενιάς σε επιλεγμένα σημεία ενδιαφέροντος καθώς και επαυξημένης πραγματικότητας (AR) για μια καινοτόμα πλοήγηση στο χώρο και τη πληροφορία. Έχει πραγματοποιηθεί επίσης παραγωγή πολυμεσικού περιεχομένου (φωτογραφίες – φωτογραφίες 360° - βίντεο) για επιλεγμένα σημεία ενδιαφέροντος.
