This app demonstrates the capabilities of a Bluetooth LE and Sensor gadget that is provided from WΓΌrth Elektronik eiSos for the Wireless Connectivity Seminars. A Bluetooth LE connection can be build up from Smartphone to the embedded Hardware. This Hardware is using the Adafruit Feather Wing infrastructure. It shows a typical use case that can be modified to serve prototyping a multitude of possible User Applications including Sensors, Bluetooth Low Energy and a Smartphone. In this particular example one Host Board (Adafruit Feather M0), one WΓΌrth Elektronik Proteus Wing and one WΓΌrth Elektronik Sensor Wing are used. Plugging the boards together and installing the Demo firmware on the M0 the demo is ready to run. Firmware and Source code for firmware and App are available from https://github.com/orgs/WurthElektronik. The App was created using the Capacitor Framework by Ionic (https://capacitorjs.com).

About

IoT sensors

Features

IoT sensors is a development app for visualisation of sensor data sent as JSON over BLE, TCP or UART. The sensor type is detected automatically, showing appropriate UI elements. Sensors can be shared with other clients by enabling bridge mode. – Thingy:91 temperature, pressure, humidity, air resistance, ambient light, accelerometer, impact, LED control – compass with 3D calibration, gravity, gyroscope, battery state of charge – JSON format for sensor data – connectivity: BLE, TCP, UART – bridge TCP to BLE or UART requires g_relay, gncom or compatible server, and allows multiple clients to share a single sensor – compatible with sensor samples from nano RTOS – new sensors can be added on demand
