Quick count: driver's license, car registration, car insurance, health insurance, passport, a certification or two, some memberships, a warranty. Now add your kids' documents. And your parents'. Any one of them is easy to remember. All of them together is not. That is the whole problem. Nobody forgets a passport because passports are hard. It was item eleven of fifteen, and nothing was keeping the list. DocDoc keeps the list, and reminds you while there is still time to do something about it. ONE LIST FOR EVERYONE YOU LOOK AFTER Add a profile for each person you track things for, and one for the car while you are at it. Profiles are free and unlimited, because the person who needs this app most is running a whole household. Reminders say who: "Emma's Passport expires in 90 days." EVERYTHING WITH A DATE, IN ONE PLACE Passports, licenses, registrations, insurance of every kind, professional licenses and certifications, visas, permits, memberships, warranties, inspections. If it expires, it goes on the list, sorted by what needs attention first. REMINDERS THAT ACTUALLY REMIND Nudges 90, 30, and 7 days before anything expires, and again on the day itself. Passports get a 6 month heads up too, because many countries turn you away if your passport expires within six months of travel. Day-of reminders use Time Sensitive notifications so they are hard to miss. You choose the lead times and the time of day. Optional email reminders back you up on the days your phone is off. SCAN THE DATE, SKIP THE TYPING Point the camera at a passport or license and DocDoc reads the expiration date on your device. Passport dates are verified with the check digits built into the passport itself. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your documents are never uploaded to us. Scanning happens on your phone, and the photo is saved with your document, encrypted, deletable any time. No analytics, no ads, no tracking. Email reminders are optional: turn them on and DocDoc creates an account with Sign in with Apple, storing only your email address and the reminder details it needs to send. Delete it in Settings whenever you like, and everything we stored goes with it. BUILT FOR REAL RENEWALS Mark a document renewed and the old date moves to history. Recurring documents roll forward automatically. Widgets put your next expiration on your home screen and lock screen. Attach receipts, photos, or PDFs, stored on your device and your own iCloud, never on our servers. Lock the whole app with Face ID. DATES IN YOUR OWN CALENDAR Turn on the Hebrew, Islamic, Persian, Indian, Buddhist, Chinese, Japanese or Ethiopic calendar and enter a date the way you actually know it. A yearly repeat advances by one year of that calendar, so a yahrzeit or an annual observance stays on its own date while the Gregorian one moves. Reminders always fire on the Gregorian date. FREE AND PRO Free includes 5 documents, unlimited profiles, reminders, scanning, widgets and iCloud sync. DocDoc Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that removes the document limit, with a 7 day free trial on the yearly plan. Or invite three friends and get six months of Pro free, no payment needed. DocDoc is made by one independent developer who got tired of expired documents. No venture capital, no growth team, no reason to collect your data. The next renewal is already on its way. Put it on the list. DocDoc Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.
