Ippon Board
Read full descriptionHide full description
Ippon Board is a scoreboard for judo and grappling: judo, freestyle wrestling, BJJ, ADCC and sambo, each on its own official rules. It's free to use. JUST NEED A SCOREBOARD? Open it and score. No account, no sign-up and no internet needed. One tap per score or penalty, the hold-down clock counts itself, and golden score, overtime and each sport's tie-breaks are handled for you. THE HALL'S SCREEN Plug in a TV or projector (HDMI, USB-C or AirPlay): the hall sees the scoreboard alone while you keep the controls. ON iPHONE AND iPHONE DUO On iPhone Duo, unfold it for the full board, stand it half-open for a tabletop board with the controls flat in front of you, or fold it to keep scoring on the front screen. Other iPhones get the same compact board. Best on iPad and Mac. MAKE YOUR OWN RULES Start from any sport and change the scores, what they're worth, the bout length and the penalties, with versions for each age group and round. Sign in to keep your rule presets and team formats on every board. TEAM MATCHES IJF team formats and your own. For a quick team match, type the two team names and start; athlete names are optional. RUNNING A TOURNAMENT? Build the draw at app.ipponboard.com and each mat's bouts arrive on its board. Practise before each mat starts, then start the mat and the bouts follow one after another. Results go straight back, and the brackets and results fill in by themselves. If the venue Wi-Fi drops, every mat keeps scoring: results are saved on the device and sent when it's back. TRY IT FIRST A demo tournament is built in: three days on two mats, with judo, grappling and a teams day. Nothing is sent anywhere.
