Based on the ASA CX-3® Flight Computer for pilots, this CX-3 app makes flight planning simple by taking confusion out of the equation. Fast, versatile and easy to use, the CX-3® delivers accurate results quickly and efficiently. Whether used for flight planning, ground school, or FAA Knowledge Exam preparation, the menu organization reflects the order in which a flight is normally planned and executed, resulting in a natural flow from one function to the next with a minimum of keystrokes. Multiple aviation functions can be performed on the CX-3® flight computer including those related to time, speed, distance, heading, wind, fuel, altitude, cloud base, standard atmosphere, glide, climb & descent, weight & balance, as well as a holding pattern function to help determine entry method and holding details. The CX-3® has 12 unit-conversions: Distance, Speed, Duration, Temperature, Pressure, Volume, Rate, Weight, Rate of Climb/Descent, Angle of Climb/Descent, Torque, and Angle. These 12 conversion categories contain 38 different conversion factors for over 100 functions. A calculator, clock, timer, and stopwatch are also built in along with multiple settings for lighting, backlighting, themes, time zones and more.

About

Flown

Features

Your logbook. Yours. Flown is a flight logbook for private pilots flying under FAA Part 91 — built on one conviction: a logbook is a legal record you own, not a service you rent. No account. No sign-up. No server. Your flights live on your device and sync through your own iCloud. Export is free, in every format, forever — and always will be. Flown is deliberately the easiest logbook to leave. We think that's exactly why you'll stay. LOG A FLIGHT IN SECONDS Aircraft defaults to the last one flown; airports autocomplete offline from 28,428 airports worldwide Type decimal hours, or enter block times and let Flown do the maths One-tap repeat of your last flight, route reversed Night time computed from real solar position — including the fact that night flight time and night landing currency use two different windows. Every computed value stays editable. AUTOMATIC FLIGHT DETECTION — WITH YOU IN COMMAND Flown can detect your flight from GPS and draft the entry: takeoff, landings, route, times. But a draft never enters your logbook by itself. It waits in an Unconfirmed inbox until you've checked it and confirmed it — because a logbook is a legal record, and no app should write one for you. Works with Stratux, Stratus, SkyEcho, and any GDL90 ADS-B receiver for better accuracy than a phone in a cabin. CURRENCY, DONE PROPERLY One dashboard: day and night passenger currency, tailwheel, instrument currency with its grace period shown as its own state, flight review, and medical — including BasicMed. Each card shows exactly when it lapses, what you need, and which flights satisfy it, so you can audit the answer instead of taking it on faith. Calendar-month arithmetic is exact. Optional reminders at 30, 14, and 7 days — local notifications, nothing leaves your device. And when Flown doesn't know, it says so. Imported landings that can't confirm full-stop status are marked unknown, not guessed. Currency is calculated from your records as a convenience — you remain responsible for their accuracy and legality. YOUR DATA, IN AND OUT Import from ForeFlight, Garmin Pilot, or any CSV with column mapping — previewed, duplicate-checked, all-or-nothing Unlimited import, even in free mode Export to ForeFlight CSV, Garmin Pilot CSV, custom CSV, or export your entire Flown logbook including endorsement photos as JSON — never paywalled Balance forward supported: one line for the hours before this logbook BUILT FOR THE CHECKRIDE AND BEYOND Endorsements with standard FAA wording, instructor signatures drawn on screen with finger or Apple Pencil, and an FAA Form 8710 report that fills in your totals for you. FREE TO START, YOURS TO KEEP Log up to 50 entries free, with the full currency dashboard, iCloud sync, import, and every export format included. Unlock unlimited entries by subscription — or buy Flown outright with a one-time lifetime purchase. No "Pro" tier. Paying doesn't get you a different app; it removes the limit from the one you already have. Orange by default — or switch the accent to neon green, pink, blue, or purple. Light mode, dark mode, Zulu or local. Your logbook, your instrument panel. Privacy label: Data Not Collected. Because there's nothing to collect it with. Flown is for Part 91 fixed-wing pilots and students under FAA rules. iPhone and iPad, iOS 26. EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
