Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Keeron at 5.0 against Live Written™'s 4.2. Keeron also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). Live Written™'s advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Live Written™ sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Keeron sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Keeron holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live Written™ has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of Live Written™'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Keeron's.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
