About

Qalkan

Features

Qalkan reads QR codes and barcodes and shows you what is inside before anything happens. A scanned code is never opened, dialled or connected on its own. You see the content first, you decide second. BEFORE YOU OPEN A LINK Qalkan shows the full address, marks the real domain inside it and points out the patterns used to dress a link up as something else: a lookalike domain, mixed alphabets, a hidden redirect. Short links can be resolved with one tap, so you see the destination before you travel to it. SCANNING - QR, Data Matrix, Aztec, PDF417, EAN, UPC, Code 128, Code 39 and more - Several codes in one frame: you pick the one you meant - Scan from a photo you already have, or from an image shared to Qalkan - Batch mode for stock taking, tickets and shelf work - Works offline, every scan is decoded on your device CREATING - Link, text, Wi-Fi, contact, event, e-mail, SMS, phone, location and product codes - Your own design: colours, shapes, corner styles, a logo in the middle - A readability check that warns you before a pretty code stops scanning - Export as PNG, SVG or PDF, or print it YOUR WALLET - History of what you scanned and what you made, searchable, with folders and notes - Two-step keys, Wi-Fi passwords and payment codes are not saved unless you ask for it - Everything stays on your device. No account, no sign-up, no server QALKAN PRO The free version is supported by ads. Pro removes them and opens the full toolbox: unlimited history, folders, backup, designed codes with a logo, password protected codes, named batch sessions and exports. Scanning and reading are always free, with no limit on how many codes you read. PRIVACY Qalkan has no account and no analytics SDK. What you scan stays on your device unless you share it yourself.
