Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Blowly! at none against Llama app's shown. Blowly! also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 15). Llama app's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blowly! sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Llama app sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Blowly! against 4.5 for Llama app. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blowly! has 1.3K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Blowly! ships an update every 2 months, Llama app weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
