Verdict
The clearest difference is price: SWIPTV at Free against Streamos's $9.99. SWIPTV also leads on ratings volume (120 vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Streamos's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.2). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
SWIPTV is free to download; Streamos costs $9.99 up front. SWIPTV sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Streamos sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Streamos holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SWIPTV has 120 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
SWIPTV ships an update weekly, Streamos every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
